Coherent Curriculum in China

Listening and Reading are Receptive Skills while Speaking and Writing are Productive Skills. Those four are main communication skills.

Without receptive skills, it would be hard to improve productive skills. If we could not understand messages by voice or written words, how could we express our thoughts properly by voice or pen?

Without productive kills, it would be meaningless and even impossible to improve receptive skills. If we could not speak or write down our feelings and thoughts, how could we improve our understanding of what was told or written?

With the help of our coherent curriculum, only by by just attending one or more courses they are intersted in can a student improve those four English communication skills. They can expand vocabulary, listen to English, read articles and practice writing in most of those courses.

However, different courses focused on different skills are coherent and help improve different skills by improving other specific skills, so if you really want to be an well-rounded communicator, you will be strongly recommended or even required to attend other courses when you select some of the courses.

If you really attend all the courses required and elective, you will master a language in a systematic and holistic way, and will definitely become a very advanced English communicator.
